Versatile, the Beta allows you to vary your outdoor adventures. Its durable 80D outer fabric and lightweight, robust, PFC-free (perfluorinated chemicals) GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane provide waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection while reducing its carbon footprint. The C-KNIT lining provides enhanced comfort and the streamlined StormHood adjusts for protection without impeding vision. The articulated fit moves with you, and the RECCO reflector can facilitate search operations.

Product Tip: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, yet just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the outer material “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself. If you notice the material wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil contamination and bring the DWR back to full power.
